Biography

Phil Wrzesinski is the President and Owner of Toy House and Baby Too in Jackson, Michigan, one of America’s largest and oldest independent toy and baby stores and recently named one of the 25 Best Independent Stores in America in the book Retail Superstars by George Whalin.

Phil does Business to Business presentations on Advertising, Pricing, Customer Service, and Staff Trainings, all of the topics that have made Toy House and Baby Too the premier shopping experience in the toy and baby industries. His business presentations are fun & informative, and full of useful tips you can implement right away.

Phil is the proud father of two boys and helps expectant fathers get off to a good start in their fatherhoods through a highly-touted class he teaches at the local hospital called “Babies 101: The Basics for New Dads”.

Phil also teaches classes in his store to help parents spend their money wisely, and is a regular contributor to toy and baby industry magazines.

Phil and his wife, Shannon, founded Kids in Common, a company dedicated to connecting families with the resources and organizations designed to support them. Kids in Common started as a weekly radio show and is now a free monthly magazine read by 10,000 families in Jackson.

Phil is involved in many business organizations including President of Midtown Association of Jackson, a downtown merchants group, Vice President and Publicity Director of Jackson Local First Independent Business Alliance, and Curriculum Director for the Jackson Retail Success Academy.
